What is Functional Fitness?

Functional fitness refers to exercises and movements that are designed to improve everyday physical activities by mimicking real-life motions. It focuses on building strength, endurance, proprioception, flexibility, and coordination in a way that enhances your ability to perform daily tasks or sports.

Examples of functional fitness exercises include multiplanar motions combined with multiple muscle groups and joints, focusing on engaging the core stability and strength to improve overall stability and movement efficiency.

The primary goal of functional fitness is not just to build muscle or lose weight, but to improve your overall movement capacity in practical and useful ways, helping to prevent injuries and promote long-term mobility.
